When any Committee member leaves there is always a hole to fill and none more so that the gapping chasm left by Helen Cave - our Membership Secretary.
Helen was instrumental in bringing the new central membership database - eR2 - to our club and has spent many hours teaching all how to use it. Her energy is endless and she offered support to all of us.
We were all sorry when her tenure ended and we wondered who we might find to fill the large shoes she would be leaving, despite her small stature.
We are delighted that Jane Butterworth has taken on the role of Membership Secretary and also that Helen has offered her support in Jane's new role. Helen is not resting on her laurels or other flowering shrub for that matter, as she recently took over as Education Secretary for Bucks County.
Her gift from the Club was a self pollinating Merryweather Damson Tree.
