Club Meeting: John Catton

John is a long time member of our club and equally a long time volunteer with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

As we know, our honeybees are not the only important pollinators, they exist alongside and maybe in competition with many other species of bumble and solitary bees here in the UK.

John will be explaining and demystifying the differences between these remarkable creatures.

Part of his talk will be devoted to the effects and consequences that climate change is having on our bee populations.
