Bumble Bees and Solitary Bees
The general advice for Bumble Bees and most other types of bee are to leave them where they are unless they are a danger to human health, in which case contact Paul Bryant (details below) or your local pest control service.
Honey Bees
If you have Honey Bees and live local to Amersham, Chesham and the Chalfonts area of Buckinghamshire please contact any of our Swarm Collectors listed below. We all cover the whole Chalfonts region so if the one nearest you doesn’t answer just try another or try our new swarm line 0700 39 00 403. We’ll try to contact a beekeeper, but if that fails you can leave a message and you should receive a call back from a beekeper. Please check that you do have honey bees before you call.
Please note that our swarm collectors do not charge a fee to remove a swarm of honey bees, but may ask you to pay for the fuel used travelling to and from your location. This contribution may be requested for visiting your location regardless of whether Honey Bees are found.

In many cases our Swarm Collectors will be able to offer advice, sometimes it’ll be to contact Paul Bryant at “ABEE Pest Control”. Paul works with the society to re-home Honey Bees and deal with other pests in the appropriate manner.
